Configuring Outlook Express
- Select TOOLS -> ACCOUNTS
- Select ADD -> MAIL
- Enter your name "First Last" <NEXT>
- Enter your email address "name@yourDomain.com" <NEXT>
- Select POP or IMAP per the discussion on this page
- Set the "Incoming mail server" to "mail.yourDomain.com"
- Set the "Outgoing mail server" to "mail.yourDomain.com"
- Press <NEXT>
- Set the "Account name" to "user@yourDomain.com"
- Press <NEXT>, <FINISH>
- Select the new account from the list and press <PROPERTIES>
- Select the SERVERS tab
- In the "Outgoing Mail Server" area, put a checkmark by "My Server requires authentication"
- If you are setting up an IMAP account:
- Select the IMAP tab
- Set the "Root Folder path" to "Inbox"
- Set the "Sent Items path" to "Sent"
- Set the "Drafts path" to "Saved"
- Press <OK>
