Publishing your Website with FrontPage
Note: If you use FrontPage on your site, it is important that you
do not also publish files using ftp, otherwise you risk damaging
your FrontPage web.
We highly recommend that you only publish files with FrontPage
2000 or greater. There are compatibility issues with older versions.
Before uploading your home page, be sure it is named index.html.
Publishing to your website hosted at hostADP
If you are the site administrator for a website hosted at hostADP,
you can access the website through FrontPage by selecting FILE ->
OPEN WEB and then typing the full URL to your website. For example:
http://www.yourDomain.com
Login with the username of webmaster and the password you were
provided. Note that this is not your email password.
Publishing to your personal area of a website hosted at hostADP
Every email account at a domain hosted with hostADP has its own
personal website at that domain, which can be reached at:
http://www.yourDomain.com/~username
You can access this site through FrontPage by selecting FILE ->
OPEN WEB and then typing:
http://www.yourDomain.com/~username
Login with the username and password you use to check email.
Publishing to your free hostADP personal site
If you are a hostADP dialup customer, you have a free personal
website which can be reached at:
http://www.hostadp.net/~username
You can access this site through FrontPage by selecting FILE ->
OPEN WEB and then typing:
http://www.hostadp.net/~username
Login with the username and password you use to check email.
