Publishing your Website via ftp
Note: If you use FrontPage on your site, it is important that you
do not also publish files using ftp, otherwise you risk damaging
your FrontPage web.
Before uploading your home page, be sure it is named index.html.
Publishing to your website hosted at hostADP
Direct your ftp client to the full URL of your website. For example:
http://www.yourDomain.com
Login with the username and password you use to check email.
Change to the ../../web directory and upload your files.
Publishing to your personal area of a website hosted at hostADP
Every email account at a domain hosted with hostADP has its own
personal website at that domain, which can be reached at:
http://www.yourDomain.com/~username
To publish to this site, direct your ftp client to the full URL
of your website. For example:
http://www.yourDomain.com
Login with the username and password you use to check email.
Change to the /users/username/web directory and upload your files.
Publishing to your free hostADP personal site
If you are a hostADP dialup customer, you have a free personal
website which can be reached at:
http://www.hostadp.net/~username
To publish to this site, direct your ftp client to:
http://www.hostadp.net/
Login with the username and password you use to check email.
Change to the /users/username/web directory and upload your files.
